For their New Year Gala concert on January 3, 2024, the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland (NYOI) featured the Visual Listening Guide to Debussy’s La Mer in their program books! It’s always a treat when an orchestra offers the Guide in printed form to its audience, to give them a different perspective on an orchestral work. Concert-goers can follow along (if desired) during the concert, and then take it home later to enjoy while listening to or watching any audio or video recording.

The La Mer Visual Listening Guide was the second one ever to be created, in 2015. I was pleased to have the opportunity to update and refresh its design in preparation for this concert and now the new and improved version is available to all at the Symphony Graphique web shop!
